MAHRA is now accepting applications for our 2020 Rose Marie Coughlin Educational Awards. These awards are made in memory of one of our former executive directors. Historically, these Educational Awards have enabled motivated and talented residents to reach their educational and professional self-sufficiency goals. Please publicize the educational awards program and encourage residents living within your community to apply.
An educational award applicant must be sponsored by a MAHRA member agency. The applicant must reside in housing owned or managed by the agency, receive a subsidy administered by the agency, or receive assistance through housing and community development agencies or non-profit organizations that are MAHRA members.
Sponsoring agencies should review the application with the applicants as well as endorse and submit each application. Space is provided on the application for the Executive Director's signature. We are asking each member agency to support our Educational Awards through the submission of applications and an agency sponsorship fee of $250.00 that is used to fund the awards. An invoice is included on this page for your convenience. A form is also included for those wishing to individually sponsor an award.
